Thinking of eating somewhere a little different for a change, well why not try El Greco, a traditional Greek Restaurant with a cozy indoor dining room where you can expect a fun filled experience with some fabulous tastes and great prices. Rosi and Nico first opened “El Greco” in August 2009. It is situated on the edge of the Los Dolses commercial centre, Villamartin in the Orihuela Costa.
The restaurant is a small family business and in bringing it to the local area Rosi and Nico have built on their 20 years of experience working in many different countries.
They originally come from Thessalonica, a Greek island, many dishes and specialities from which you will find in El Greco. They are both fully qualified Chefs and Rosi is also a Confectioner, making all the cakes, tarts and sweets by herself.
Some of the many specialties include Lamb, Moussaka, food from the oven, as well as a great selection of grilled seafood and fresh salads, starters and desserts.
From the 24th March, every Wednesday and Saturday from 1o’clock, there will also be traditional dance music to which you can enjoy just coffee, cakes and ice cream or, if you want to enjoy our traditional food there will be lot’s more that you can select from our special menus.
On Easter Saturday and Sunday our menus will include suckling pig, goat and lamb specials, Steaks with different side dishes, salads and starters, and from 1o’clock there will also be traditional live dance music with Peter.
You could also try our XXL weeks with 500g Schnitzels and many different sauces, side dishes and salads. We have Greek XXL sausages, many different XXL Grill-Pans and XXL beer and wine.
The thought of just tucking into a platter of grilled fresh sardines on a hot afternoon while sipping a chilled Greek rosé will make you think you’ve stumbled into the Costa Blanca’s secret European heart so if you're craving a Greek salad or gyro then why not make the call.
The restaurant is open every day from 12o’clock lunchtime until 11pm at night.
Rosemarie, Nikolaus and Konstantin Sarafis, all from Thessalonica, are very much looking forward to your visit on the occasion of which you will be assured of an extremely warm Greek welcome.
