RBL OVERPOWERED IN HONDON

On a glorious sunny June day in Hondon de los Frailes, two teams of mature gentlemen boldly marched onto the make-shift cricket pitch for a gentlemanly game of cricket. It soon turned into a battle cheered on by an amused bunch of supporters all taking in the ambience of sitting around enjoying the weather and a drink in hand!
The President and Captain, Peter Broadbent, of RBL Hondon Valley won the toss of the coin and chose to field first. That was the only thing they won as The Neighbour hood Watch stormed on to beat them 165 - 47.
At the end of the match the Mayor of Hondon de los Frailes, Eleuterio Jover Garcia, presented a cup which was donated by Brian Johnson to Micheal Jackson, Captain of the winning team! There will be plenty of aching muscles after this first challenge!
