PODIUM FOR ALEX TULLETT

Last weekend, Alex Tullett competed in the Copa Valles Kart Series 2010 at Chicharra Karting, Villena. Saturday practice went to plan with Alex consistently in the top five or six drivers. On Sunday, the day starts off with official practice, and Alex continued where he left off from the previous day. Next came qualifying, and in very hot conditions, Alex managed to qualify in sixth position, only three tenths of a second behind pole position. In the first race as usual, the grid is reversed, which meant Alex was on fourteenth position.
From a very good start, alex managed to gain positions through the race and did fantastically well to reach a podium position. In the second race, qualifying and the results of the first race are aggregated, and this put Alex on the second row of the grid. In a tightly fought race, alex maintained position and finished just off the podium in fourth place.
The series now takes a rest for the summer, and the next race will be on the weekend of the 18th-19th of September at La Manga Karting. Alex would like to thank his sponsor RabbitFX, the new and exciting currency solutions company, and Sign Solutions for the kart design.
