La Piazza is the ideal place for a relaxing meal in pleasant surroundings. The friendly staff speak a variety of languages, and will do their utmost to please you.
La Piazza is owned by Josep and Susana, who run the very popular Austrian/Hungarian restaurant Monarch, in Villamartin Plaza. The family business looks set to continue to do well, down to their hard work and positive outlook on life.
Josep, Susana and their two sons moved to the Costa Blanca from Austria ten years ago, to open Monarch. They have never regretted the move and are very settled here in the area. Despite the long working hours, they are very happy doing what they are doing. Monarch Restaurant serves excellent Austrian and Hungarian food. It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 6pm till late. It will be closed from December 1st until January 11th. Josep invites all the regulars to Monarch to come and try the food at La Piazza, while Monarch is closed.
Situated opposite Campoamor Golf, La Piazza's elegant red and black décor is a refreshing change from your average restaurant. The Italian design suits the food on offer. Excellent home made pizzas, cooked on the spot, and freshly made pastas are extremely popular dishes here. And they continue to offer their fantastically popular Menu of the Day for just 9.95 euros, which includes a choice of 6 starters, 8 main courses, a drink or a coffee and a desert.
Breakfasts are served from 10am to 2pm and snacks are served from 10am to 6pm. The menu of the day is served from 12.30pm to 4pm and from 12.30pm onwards you can choose from the a la carte menu. As you can see, food is served all day.
La Piazza also offers a takeaway service, and they are running a special promotion in which, when you purchase a takeaway pizza your pizza-pass is stamped. For every ten pizzas you buy you will get one free. Coffee lovers will be pleased to know that next year La Piazza will be serving the excellent Italian coffee Segofredo.
They profess to always provide excellent service and quality food at an acceptable price. So why not pop along to La Piazza and see for yourself. I am sure you won't be disappointed.
La Piazza will be closed from December 14th to 22nd. From then on it will have normal opening times of 10am till late except on: December 24th 10am till 6pm, 25th 10am till late, only serving a la carte, 31st 10am till 10pm, and January 1st 12.30 till late.
