ORIHUELA COSTA R.B.L AT THE CASTLE

The Orihuela Costa and District Branch of The Royal British Legion had a stand at the Homes, Gardens and Outdoor Living Exhibition at the Castillo de Conesa in San Miguel on the 22 &23 May 2012.
The Branch´s aim was to was to inform the public of the R.B.Ls work within the community, recruitment and raising funds for the 2012 Poppy Appeal.
A hamper was raffled and the winning ticket was drawn by UK´s TV gardening guru Charlie Dimmock.
The winning ticket number was 124 and was won by Mr. Neuton from San Pedro.
Over €400 was raised over the two days. Keith Carter, Branch Chairman would like to thank everyone who helped raise this amount and to all of the Branch members who assisted over the two days.
