The New All Embracing Concept in Advertising
By Graeme Clark of Canal Print & Graphic Services
With business prospects continuing to look bleak for the next few months at least - economic conditions in the rest of the world affecting the spending capacity of virtually everyone living on the Costa Blanca or choosing to holiday here - our sales reps have reported that business owners are complaining of a lack of customers and are averse to spending money to advertise in just one specific way or area.
With this in mind, over the Christmas break I had meetings with a number of other people in the advertising industry in a form of a brain-storming session where we started by listing all available means by which any company, regardless of size and status, could market it's services or products.
Whilst some of the options were quite obvious (shop signage, vehicle graphics, radio and TV advertising) others were not - one suggestion was that with the number of swimming pools in the area why not retile them with the company's logo? This suggestion was swiftly discounted.
The idea of Credit Crunch Marketing was to come up with a small range of varied services enabling businesses to advertise in as many ways as possible but put together in one affordable package allowing them to budget without compromising on quality.
Eventually, we decided upon five chosen avenues for advertising - newspaper and radio advertisements, vehicle graphics, full colour leaflets and the internet.
The Leader Newspaper would provide the first - with a choice of sizes of colour adverts with insertions over either 4 or 13 weeks.
The Costa Blanca's favourite radio station, Exite Radio 89.2 & 93.1fm, would provide twice daily week-day mentions by their regular presenters, for a period of ten weeks, meaning a total of 100 mentions in all, with the ability to alter the content - limited to around 12 seconds - every week.
At Canal Print, I agreed to provide vehicle graphics by means of magnetic signs ideal for displaying corporate logos and information on cars or vans at a fraction of the cost of full vehicle signage, and also to supply full colour leaflets (either 1000 double sided or 2500 single sided). I also agreed that all design and artwork would be included within the overall cost by Canal Print's highly experienced design team.
Finally, new web listing site CostaLocal.com was recruited to provide the internet service, allowing up to 80 words of text and two colour graphics for free.
This basic package, with the ability to upgrade any or all parts of the service at an additional fee, will be available at the special promotional price of just 450 euros exclusive of IVA.
However, Credit Crunch Marketing in this format will not be available for long - the last date for signing up to the whole package will be 14th March, while all radio and newspaper adverts will be continued only until the end of April.
For further information on how to take advantage of this superb offer to advertise your business in the most cost effective and wide ranging manner ever devised on the Costa Blanca, contact The Leader Newspaper now.
