With a good support for this mixed triples, the club members organized a raffle in aid off EMAUS CHILDRENS HOME, photo shows Doreen Wiles, with Annette English receiving the cheque for 200euro, and hard working Izzy Tolson from the Peacocks club who works tirelessly for the club.
The Peacocks who are based near the Carp R Us fishing club, now have 12 pistes, which has helped increase its membership, with two new teams, El Raso, and Torre del Agua, now hoping to enter the LAS SALINAS PETANCA LEAGUE.
LAS SALINAS LEAGUE
With 44 teams so far provisionally entered for the winter league, it was decided that a maximum of 5 divisions would be allowed, this will cater for 40 of the teams. The closing date for further entries is August 17th, all entries to the league secretary Pat Roberts on 966774 565.
