The group F.A.B. (Fighting Against Breast cancer) have been busy raising funds for the AECC with monthly charity events. So far, over 2000€ has been raised but we have more fund raising activities organised.
F.AB.s next event is a Caberoke evening with Shanie to be held at the Coopers Arms bar in Quesada on the 9th April. The tickets are 5€ each and all the proceeds from ticket sales go to the AECC. Tickets are available from the Coopers Arms or by calling Sue on 966392823 or Carol on 654599197.
F.A.B’s Grand Finale is a charity show to be presented at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fugencio on the 4th June to celebrate the end of their year of fund raising and to boost the total amount raised. All of the acts involved are well known on the entertainment circuit and will work together to produce an evening of top class entertainment.
The evening will conclude with the Half Monty performed by some very brave female F.A.B. committee members. All of the professional performers are very generously taking part for no fee allowing us to donate all the proceeds from ticket sales. Tickets are 10 euros and are on sale from The Post Box, Quesada, The Card Place, Benimar and Cards and More, La Marina.
As well as supporting a very worthy cause, this promises to be a great night of entertainment that should not be missed.
