Ladies Day on day two of the Cheltenham Festival on Wednesday March 13 highlights the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase featuring the fastest two-milers on the National Hunt scene showcasing around Prestbury Park.

The Ballymore Novices hurdle (1.30) gets racing under starters orders with noted horses Champ (3-1) Battleoverdoyen (4-1) Klassical Dream (13-2) and City Island (10-1) amongst the fancied runners.

Nicky Henderson trained Champ (win) and Willie Mullins Klassical Dream (each way) are both tipped.

The RSA Chase (2.10) is a big test for staying talent with previous festival winner and win selection Delta Work (9-4) trained by Gordon Elliott, Santini (3-1) and Paul Nicholls trained Top Of The Game (7-2) noted.

The Coral Cup Hurdle (2.50) features Farclas (16-1) trained by Gordon Elliott, Whisky Sour (10-1) trained by Willie Mullins and Old Guard (20-1) trained by Paul Nicholls, all worthy of each way support.

The Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase (3.30) sees the magnificent Altior (2-5) trained by Nicky Henderson, heavily odds-on to win. Willie Mullins trained Footpad (6-1) unbeaten over jumps since 2015, is an each way tip.

The Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase (4.10) is a marathon race, won last year by Tiger Roll, who went on to win the 2018 Grand National at Aintree.

Selection Tiger Roll (21-20) a three times winner at Cheltenham, French trained Urgent De Gregaine (9-1) each way tip, and Ultragold (10-1) each way tip, are noted.

“Urgent De Gregaine is well – and seems ready to me. He knows his job by heart,” said trainer Emmanuel Clayeux.

The Boodles Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap Hurdle (4.50) sees selection, Joseph O’Brien saddle Band Of Outlaws (5-1); each way tip Friend Or Foe (15-2), trained by Paul Nicholls; Belargus (16-1) trained by Nick Gifford and French raider, Alain Couetil trained Naturelle (25-1), amongst the noted runners.

Gordon Elliott trained selection Envoi Allen (10-3) is a leading contender in The Weatherbys Champion Bumper (5.30); with Willie Mullins trained Blue Sari (4-1) and Paul Nicholls trained each way tip Ask For Glory (16-1) noteworthy.
