STUDIO32 are delighted to announce that their recent production of “The Wiz” raised 3,500 euros for charities, including San Fulgencio Alzheimer’s Association, the music school, and the local school.

STUDIO32’s chairman Philip Wilson is pictured at San Fulgencio Town Hall with Paulino Herrero, Ramon Velda Diez, Vicente Murcia,  Ana, and Rosa Maria Mira representing several of the charities who benefitted.

Philip commented: “Everyone in STUDIO32 worked extremely hard to make this show a terrific success. They’re a great bunch of people and I’m very proud of them all. Raising money for the local community is very rewarding, and this time for example we have enabled the music school to buy a new trombone for students.

We’ve also just passed a big milestone in our charity work, having now raised over 30,000 euros for local charities. It’s an incredible achievement, and we will continue to support AFA San Fulgencio and local good causes in the future.”

The company have recently announced their summer show, which is Cole Porter’s “Anything Goes”. This is a classic American musical, set on a cruise liner in the 1930s. It features some great well-known songs including “I Get A Kick Out Of You”, “You’re The Top” and of course the title song “Anything Goes”.

The show will be performed from Wednesday May 29th to Saturday June 1st at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fulgencio. Reserved seating tickets priced at 10 euros are now on sale, so book early to avoid disappointment as STUDIO32 shows are very popular. Email tickets@studiothirtytwo.org or call 744 48 49 33.
