In the Discovery Division our two teams played each other, there were some close games but in the end it was the Maples who were the winners so commiserations to the Sycamores. Final scores – 79 – 65. 10 – 2. Best winning rink – L Hier, V Sale, skip L Rudge. 23 – 10.

In the Winter league our opponents were San Luis. Final score – shots 65 – 129. Points – 2 – 10. Winning rink were – C Rudge, D Giddings, L Rudge, skip M Brown. 20 – 16.

In the Fed 4s we were at home to La Siesta Hoopoes. Final scores were shots – 61 – 31. Points – 8 – 0. Best winning rink – D Watt, P Lockley, M Lockley, G Watt. 20 – 7.

In the Fed 4s, Ash team were away to San Miguel Apaches. Final score. – shots 46 – 51. Points 2 – 6. Winning rink was S Cordell, H Meston, J Obrien, D Ridley. 18 – 15.

On Tuesday the new Proprieters of Greenlands Golf and Bowls Complex played host to a hundred members and friends who enjoyed being the first to play round the newly- completed Adventure Golf Course. The BBQ and drinks were free all day as the guests celebrated a further stage in the transformation of the Venue.

The Oaks were away to Vistabella Lanzadores, final score shots 70 – 112. Points 2 – 10. Two very close games belied the number of points scored, both rinks drawing their match 17 – 17 and 21 – 21. The Cedars fared much better in their game against La Marina Merlins at home. Final score – 105 – 61. 8 – 4. Best winning rink goes to J Hamil, R Stansfield, V Duchart. 30 – 7.

The Elms were away to San Luis Pumas, final score – 96 – 83. 6 – 6. Best winning rink, D Field, J Bliss, D Thompson. – 33 – 7.
