The 10th edition of the Ray Scott Art Competition attracted over 140 entries last Wednesday at La Herradura Restaurant in Los Montesinos. Organiser Sue Reader was delighted the see over 400 visitors packed into the exhibition area during the course of the day and is already making plans for the 11th running of the competition next year.
Two deaths on Orihuela Costa roads in the last 10 days, a 40 year old holidaymaker from Ireland and a 42 year old Columbian mother. The Guardia Civil said they were both tragic accidents although the female driver injvolved in the 2nd incident was found to be three times over the legal alcohol limit.
And on Sunday afternoon a decent win for CD Torrevieja against Aspe with spectators saying it was Torry’s best performance of late.
