Volunteer Fund-raisers, Marlene Brown and Joan Rampton are back organising charity fund raising nights, after a few months break.

They are returning to their original venue in Guardamar.  Formerly called Restaurante El Alto La Dolores, it now has new owners and has been renamed El Paraiso.

On Wednesday, 16th May they have organised a charity fund-raiser for The Children’s Care Home Elche and Stroke Association Spain jointly.  Nearly ‘new boy in town’, Andy Max will be entertaining with his unique blend of rock ‘n’ Roll, Rockabilly and songs from the 60’s and 70’s.

Andy not only plays double bass, but uses it as an ‘assault course’ too.  He’s a fantastic entertainer; a must see artiste.

Tickets, which include a meal, still cost 10 euros, and are available from El Paraiso (situated on the N332 between Guardamar and La Mata); The Post Room Benijofar; The Card Place in Benimar and REDZ cafe/bar in Quesada.
