A 35-year-old man has been injured in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on the CV-941 in San Miguel de Salinas on Wednesday. The accident took place after one of the cars turned in front of an approaching vehicle. A third car was also caught up in the crash.

The accident required the attendance of firefighters from Torrevieja who took almost an hour to release one of the drivers, a 35 year old man, from his vehicle. He was treated by paramedics at the scene but was subsequently transferred to the University Hospital of Torrevieja.

On Monday a woman was injured in an accident between Hurchillo and Torremendo after she is thought to have lost control of her vehicle. Although the vehicle rolled across the carriageway the driver escaped unharmed.

The third accident occurred on Tuesday with a full frontal crash between two cars on the CV-940 close to Los Montesinos involving a British woman and a Dutch man. .

Firefighters from Almoradí released the Dutch driver who was transferred to the Vega Baja Hospital while the woman received attention at the scene.
