Passenger traffic at Murcia-San Javier Airport grew 8.8 percent between January and November compared to the same period in 2016, registering a total of 1,153,312 passengers.

In addition, the number of landing and take-off operations rose to 8,290 in those eleven months, an increase of 4.4 percent compared to the previous year, according to figures released by AENA in their monthly report.

In the month of November Murcia-San Javier Airport saw a total of 47,065 passengers pass through the facility, 6.6 percent more than last year. The number of landing and departure operations also rose to 390, representing a growth of 4, 3 percent.

The AENA figures correspond to 14 consecutive months of growth in the number of passengers at the ‘under threat’ airport.
