Tenderers must submit their economic offers by 30 October

Administrators and technical staff from Aena and Edeis, the only two companies still in the race to manage Corvera International Airport, visited the complex last week as they continue to prepare their respective bids to win the ten year contract.

The visits come at a crucial time in the bidding process, which has just started its second phase. Both companies access to the airport and its facilities during the visit which was carried out under the supervision of governmental staff.

They now have until 30 October to present their economic offers.

Edeis showed great interest in the commercial areas, the extensive disposal of the available space. They focused their assessment on the operations that are needed to reduce the time needed to open the airport to commercial exploitation.

Aena, meanwhile, made a very detailed evaluation of the facilities with a view to optimising maintenance costs. They praised the high quality of materials and finishes as well as the energy and light efficiency of buildings.
