In the photo are Jane & Billy Murray owners of Capt Morgan’s Bar along with Capt Morgan himself and David English president of The Elche Children’s Care Home Charity .
At the beginning of this year Jane & Billy decided they would like to send the kids on a Fun Day Out and started selling domino cards to their customers which raised a sum of €290 .
In July this year they celebrated the 3rd anniversary of the bar and decided to use this event to raise some more funds . From the raffle and burgers they raised an amazing €409 but then out came the charity buckets which raised another €105 which Billy & Jane matched with another €105 and on top of that the staff donated their tips for the day €45 and finally the ladies from The Slimming World group donated another €50 making the total €1050.
These funds will be held in the charity’s bank account until the director decides where the kids will go on their amazing day out and all receipts will be handed over to Billy & Jane . The charity would like to thank the customers , the staff and the entertainers who gave their time for free on making this day the success it was.
Jane & Billy Murray are two of the nicest people you would ever hope to meet not only have they done this for the kids but through the year they hold parties and their customers are always helping with Christmas presents etc.
Amazing people doing amazing things to help these unfortunate children.
