95 diners attended the latest charity night at this Restaurant, and collectively helped to raise 670 euros for Samaritans in Spain. All money raised is very beneficial to our supported charities, but the numbers were a little disappointing.
Last August we only attracted 90 people, despite having, the ever popular, Woody, so it seems that many of our ‘regulars’ are back in the UK, and holiday makers prefer the beach. We will be doing another fund-raising night for The Samaritans in November.
In the meantime, the next monthly charity night will be on Friday, 9th September, with Red Stokes. All money raised from this night will be going to the Children’s Care Home in Elche. Tickets, at just 10 euros, which includes a 2 course meal, are available from the Restaurant, The Card Place in Benimar, and REDZ cafe bar in Quesada.
This month’s lucky winner of the Mediterranean cruise, donated by the Restaurant, was holiday maker, Lian McTigue, from Stevenage.
