Last Friday, July 15, saw the closing ceremony of the Municipal Football Camp held at the Playa Flamenca Sports Centre on the Orihuela Costa.

The campus was attended by children aged between 5 and 15 years, who spent three hours per day enjoying their favourite sport.

They were put through a variety of exercises aimed at teaching football techniques (control, passing, shooting, etc.) and tactics (positioning, coverage and support, etc.) during which, in all cases, their skills and their football knowledge was greatly improved.

The football camp also allowed the participants to develop many of their life skills including decision making and learning through a global training system, etc. As well as educational objectives, such as promoting coexistence, cooperation, etc. and the promotion of the values friendship, comradeship and fair play.

Each of the participants received a medal, and a reminder photo.
