Los Caballeros Golf Society October 23rd

Again our report starts with having to mention the less than ideal weather for playing golf, it was not as bad as it has been recently but our matches this week started in overcast conditions, with a few spots of rain. Fortunately, this soon died off, and it quickly turned into the perfect conditions for golf.

We had another good turnout of 16 players this week.
This week's results as follows.

Overall winner this week was Nick Tarbatt with a total score of 39 points, winner of the front nine was Trevor Brown with 18 points and the winner of the back nine with 19 points was John Thomas.

We had two winners of the twos competition this week with Trevor Brown and Terry Clark, who both scored on the 16th hole. Many congratulations to all this week's winners.

We played our first ever league match on Friday 19th October at El Plantio Golf Course against Alamo Golf Society. Every member of the League side had a wonderful day and we were able to celebrate our first win in a very tight match with a score of 2-2 but with us being awarded the bonus points to claim victory. Well done to all players involved.

Our next society match will be held on Tuesday 30th October at La Finca Golf Course. Hope to see another good turn out next week.
