EVA GUERRERO CLAIMS FRENCH TENNIS TITLES

Eva Guerrero of Torrevieja Tennis Club has claimed victory in the international under 13 tournament “Balle Mimosa Loire-Antlantique”, played in the French city of Nantes recently, where she overcame local favourite Lucie Devier in 3 sets, 6 -0, 4-6, 6-0.

Eva then went on to win the doubles title with the Catalan player Marina Bassols against the French duo of Kassandra Davesne and Carla Hassaine, 6-4, 6-2.

Just a week later, also in France, Eva repeated her singles success beating Lucie Devier, once again, this time in 2 sets 7-5, 6-3. But there was disappointment in the doubles where she was again paired with Marina Bassols. On this occasion the Spanish couple finished as runners up.

It has been a particularly good year for Eva who was a semi finalist in Majorca in the European Junior Championship before reaching the last eight in the Portugese Nationals.
