The Ladies of the league are having a get together, tomorrow Tuesday 26th June, and the objective is to try out a new format for the winter. Everyone is meeting at the Bar El Balcon, in Los Balconies for a 20.30 hours start.

Any Ladies interested in joining the League, can come along and meet us, you can come along even if this team isn’t local to you. We can help you find a team for the forthcoming winter season. Our League covers all ability levels and beginner players are always encouraged and made welcome.

Like most activities in Spain, people move on or back to England, which means that teams are often looking for players all the time.

New Season 2012 – 2013

The forthcoming season will be our 10th Anniversary Season, and we would like to encourage new teams to join the league. The Ladies League was formed in 2003, with six teams in the league, and over the last 9 years we have had up to 9 teams in the league at various times. Now, with bars closing, ladies going back to England, we have four teams that like to play Ladies Darts and want the league to continue.

Therefore, we would more than welcome new teams into the league, and information packs are available, so please ring me if you require a pack (96 571 0066). New Teams entering the league should be within 15 kilometres of Torrevieja Town Centre and your application form should be returned no later than 31st August. Alternatively, come along tomorrow and meet us.

Transport

One problem that the Ladies teams seem to have is transport, especially if the Ladies are solos. Or, if husbands are playing in other Leagues in different directions. So, if you are the owner of a vehicle with 7, 8 or 9 seats, and would be prepared to transport a team around, please contact me for further information. , League night is Tuesdays, and the winter league starts in October.
