TORREVIEJA ROYAL BRITISH LEGION HONOUR IVY SHARPE

A memorial service took place on Thursday 16 February at La Siesta Parish Evangelist Church to celebrate the life of Ivy Sharpe who died on Sunday 5 February at the age of 91.  The service was held by Pastor Keith Brown, and there were many tributes paid to Ivy by friends and carers.

Ivy was a dedicated member of the British Legion and at the age of 90 was invited to the 90th Anniversary Celebrations of the British Legion where she was presented with a 1939/45 medal which replaced one she had lost earlier.

The Torrevieja Branch Standards were displayed in honour of Ivy’s dedication and service to the Royal British Legion, and she would be sadly missed by everyone
