The daunting prospect of taking on the league leaders Denia seemed to be too much for Alone of Guardamar, who conceded a goal in each half, both scored by Migue.

An amazing recovery saw Alone score twice in the last five minutes to force an unlikely draw, their captain Tonino getting both. The result was a repeat of the scoreline in the away fixture earlier in the season and mathematically ensures Alone's place in the third division for another season, assuming that their financial difficulties allow them to continue to function as a club.
