The 10th and final round of the Clubs Spring Series was fished on the Embalse del Argos at Calasparra in Murcia last Thursday.
First on the day was Ian Dalzell, with a weight of 25.300 kilos. Second place wentro Barry Homer with 21.69 kilos. Third was Stuart Thompson with 13.10 kilos, and in fourth spot was Dennis Pick with 11.18 kilos.
The next Club match will be fished on the Eden canal in Guardamar on Thursday the 24th of May- meet at 8.00am for pegs at 8.15. We will fish 9.15 to 3.15pm. The following week will see us back at the Pantana de Benarries.
Saturday the 26th of May sees the next Dinner Dance at the Club house. 7.00 for 7.30 start. The full meal is just 8 Euros and has a choice for mains of a Saute of Beef Bourguinonne or a Gratin of fresh Salmon Thermidor. Please when booking could you state the main course that you require.
The next of the Clubs Quiz nights will be on Tuesday the 29th of May starting at 7.30pm. The cost of entrance to the Quiz is 1 Euro per person, and teams of 6 or less can take part. A raffle is held to pay for the Buffet that is provided for your enjoyment.
The next of the Clubs meetings will be on Sunday the 3rd of June with the Committee at 10.00 and the General meeting at 11.00am.
Early notice- the Club Sunday meeting on the 17th of June has been cancelled as most of the Committee are away.
The Clubs home is at the Bar El Alto La Dolores which is situated just off the roundabout near to the Repsol garage on the N332 between La Mata and Guardamar.
