The sea crossing borders and floods the exhibition hall of the House of Culture of Pilar de la Horadada with the exhibition "Perceptions water" Lopez Mirete.
The "Perceptions of water" exhibition by artist Lopez Mirete was opened in Pilar’s Cultural centre on Monday by the mayor José Fidel Ros. He was accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Benjamín Fraile, and the artist, Concha López Mirete
The exhibition features 25 works across the complete range, portrayed on many different boards, canvas, paper, oils, acrylics and mixed media, but all sharing the same theme of the sea and aquatic events.
The artist comes from the neighboring town of Benejúzar. She says that her works invite individuals to make their own interpretation. Many are not real images so they require imagination to take visitors to far away aquatic landscapes.
The exhibition will remain in the House of Culture until July 26 and can be visited from Monday to Saturday from 9am-2pm and from 4pm to 9pm.
