What's a buggy between friends? Well, when the buggy has four wheels, a steering wheel and a battery, nothing, but, when something is missing that is when you find out who your friends are!
It's often said 'you can't have everything' and on a beautiful day, on a good golf course and with good friends to give you a push what more could a man really want? Members of Cheers Golf Society assembled at Mosa Trajectum Golf course for their monthly competition on 24th May with prizes this month donated by '1Car1'.
The society members were made welcome by all the staff at Mosa Trajectum in particular the Caddymaster and staff who gave every assistance in the organisation of the day.
The course was in good condition, the greens very receptive and of good putting quality. All players arrived safely and in good time so the day was a great success and we are planning to return. Winner Jim Spiers 43 points, Runner up Margaret Marles 40 points
Third Place Bob Parker 38 points Best Pine Course Stan Boyles 21 points Best Olive Course John Brown 19 points Longest Drive, Hole 5 (Pine) Jim Spiers Nearest the Pin in 2, hole 6 (Pine) Theo Boelhower Nearest the Pin, Hole 8 (Pine) Bob Parker Nearest the Pine, Hole 20 (Olive) Jim Mealing Congratulations to all.
