SACC Midweek XI Welcomed Redbourn CC to The Woodbridge Oval. Captain Spencer Dawes won the toss and opted to to field first. Opening Bowlers, finding it hard with Ashcroft & Blandell stroking the ball around. With first change, Dhondai bought hope bowling Blandell. Then the wickets started to fall, with 2 great run-outs by Ashraf and a good catch in the deep from Brown. With a total of 313 to beat, Alfas went about the job with Marriner falling cheap, Marshall arrived at the wicket with McKinstry to score a partnership of 83. Then Mckinstry and Marshall (40 )both falling quickly brought in Brown (39) and Dawes (41) putting a partnership of 101 for the 6th wicket, with few more runs added Alfas finished with 234. Great game.
